Budget Calculator
Over the years we’ve studied the cost associated with remodeling kitchens. Using that experience we created a calculator to help clients establish a budget. On average we see consumers spending 18-20% of the current value of the home. There are many factors that affect the price of a remodel project, the four largest are:
- Size of your kitchen
- Scale of the remodel project
- Choice of materials
- Attention to detail and quality of work
The calculator below will give you and your designer a starting point when building the kitchen of your dreams.
We understand that recovery costs are an important consideration, especially if you intend to sell your home in the near future. According to national statics, kitchen remodels represent an 88% recovery cost and bathroom remodels an 82%. Often, if the quality of materials or workmanship is questionable, the recovery value is lower. The same goes for specific design & color choices.
According to Remodeling Magazine's 2009-2010 Cost vs. Value Report, the national average cost for a midrange kitchen remodel is $57,215. The national average cost for a high-end kitchen remodel is $111,794.
