New Floor Plan Kitchen Remodel

Norwick Forest, Alabaster, Alabama

This lovely single story home in Alabaster, Alabama had a small kitchen layout and an unused formal living room. To create a larger kitchen and more livable floor plan, the living room was transformed into a new dining room. This allowed for the removal of walls and an expansion of the kitchen into the space where the dining room was formerly located. In addition to designing a larger kitchen, the added space allowed the laundry to be moved from the basement to the first floor and a pantry was added. The kitchen now opens into the living room and the stairway to the basement was reconfigured to have a landing.
