Transitional Kitchen Remodel

The Wellington Neighborhood | Tuscaloosa, Al

Jay Young and the design professionals at Toulmin remodeled this Wellington home in a transitional style.  Rustic elements like the brick floor, fireplace and cabinets with x-mullions and seeded glass bring warmth and traditional attributes to this otherwise contemporary, elegant kitchen.

London Sky Quartz countertops

This kitchen was remodeled using Dupont Zodiaq quartz countertops and frameless cabinets painted in the Benjamin Moore color Gettysburg Gray BM HC-107. A professional 48" Viking range and Best of Broan range hood make meal preparation effortless and quiet.  This kitchen also contains a Kohler Whitehaven Farmhouse sink, grey 2x8 subway tile backsplash and a Danze Melrose single handle faucet in polished chrome.

Viking Appliances

Designed for entertaining, this kitchen contains a Viking Professional Series 24 Inch undercounter wine center. The pendant lighting is by Restoration Hardware.

Brick Flooring

Distressed brick flooring in a herringbone pattern adds a rustic feel and durability. The soft color matches perfectly with the cabinetry.

KITCHEN STORAGE SOLUTIONS

This transitional kitchen contains lots of storage solutions including a full size pantry with sliding shelves and door storage, cabinets with pull out drawers for small appliance storage and a custom silverware drawer divider.
