Transitional White Marble Kitchen

Waterfall Neighborhood, Tuscaloosa, Alabama

This custom single-family home was designed and built for a professional couple seeking to be near Lake Tuscaloosa. Located in the exclusive Waterfall subdivision adjacent to Crown Pointe. The plan called for a kitchen, dining room, bath, study, and laundry room.  The visual focal point of this kitchen is the floor to ceiling windows which were manufactured by Sierra Pacific. Montclair Danby Marble Kitchen Island

The appliances in this kitchen are Sub-Zero and Wolf. The island countertop is a vein cut Montclair Danby Marble. Its defined veining provides a striking contrast to the clean lines of the cabinetry.  The surround cabinetry countertops are a honed black pearl granite, and the backsplash was created using Nanda Series 3x6 bright white ceramic subway tile with white grout.

Blended Cabinetry

The inspiration for this kitchen project came from an image found on Houzz. The lower cabinets are full overlay cabinet construction, and the upper cabinets are beaded inset construction.

Hardwood Floor

The hand scraped pre-finished hardwood floors complement the large cedar beam that separates the dining area from the living room.
