Our newest television commercial was created with the help of many friends, clients, and local creative professionals who helped bring our vision to life.

Rather than creating another traditional commercial, we wanted to capture the joy that comes from gathering in a beautifully designed kitchen. After all, the kitchen truly is the heart of the home.
Featuring Our Clients and Community
One of our favorite parts of the project was inviting three recent clients to let us use their homes as filming locations.
Not only did they generously open their doors, but they also joined the fun by appearing in the commercial alongside their children, family members, and even one very photogenic dog.
Every person featured in the commercial is a friend or client of the Toulmin family, making this project an authentic celebration of the relationships we've built while helping families create beautiful kitchens and bathrooms throughout West Alabama.
Creating the Perfect Soundtrack
Once we had the concept, locations, and participants in place, we knew the commercial needed a memorable soundtrack.
Working with our local creative team, we searched for a song that felt upbeat, timeless, and fun. Family friend and local REALTOR® Denise Hayes suggested reimagining Etta James' classic "In the Basement." The lyrics were adapted to "In the Kitchen," creating the perfect fit for our commercial.
To bring the song to life, talented Tuscaloosa blues singer Shannon Chandler joined the project, delivering the energetic performance that tied everything together.
The result is a commercial that's every bit as warm, welcoming, and full of personality as the kitchens we design.
